Lincolshire Mountain Bike Coaching & Guide

Are you just getting started with mountain biking? Or maybe it’s been a while since your last ride, and you’re looking to regain your confidence? You could already be pretty confident on your bike, and you’re just looking to hone your skills.

We are a mountain biking coaching and guiding business, based in Lincolnshire. We provide one-to-one and group coaching sessions for all abilities, with men, women and children from absolute beginner right up to advanced bikers regularly enjoying our courses.

Whether you have no experience at all, or you have the basics down and you’re looking to dial in your skills, Focus Rides’ practical sessions are for you. We will give you the tool kit you will need to ride with confidence, improve your speed and shred those trails.

Fully DBS checked and first aid trained

All of our coaches are fully DBS checked and trained in first aid, so you can rest assured that your children are in safe hands when you book them onto one of our courses.

All abilities catered for

We cover everything you’ll need to know, starting with the absolute basics for those who have never had a mountain bike before, or by dialling in your biking skills to take you to the next level. You can expect to learn about bike handling on different terrain, body positioning for better balance and effective braking and cornering.

Focus Rides run one-to-one coaching sessions, as well as group training. For your convenience, we can even come to your local trails.

Mountain biking for health and wellbeing

Mountain biking is proven to be great for mental wellness. It’s a very social activity – meet your mates, have a laugh and get fit in the process. Even if you choose to ride alone, it’s likely you’ll be part of an online cycling community.

The mental and physical challenges of mountain biking provide you with a great focus, and getting out of your comfort zone to try something new can give you a great sense of achievement.
